Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Managed Services Engineer to join our team. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for providing managed services to clients by proactively identifying and resolving cloud-based incidents and problems.

Your key responsibilities will include ensuring that assigned infrastructure at the client site is configured, installed, tested, and operational. You will also perform necessary checks, apply monitoring tools, and respond to alerts.

You will identify problems and errors prior to or when they occur and log all such incidents in a timely manner with the required level of detail. Additionally, you will assist in analyzing, assigning, and escalating support calls.

Investigating third-line support calls assigned and identifying the root cause of incidents and problems are also key aspects of this role. You will report and escalate issues to 3rd party vendors if necessary.

On-site technical support to clients and provision of field engineering services are also essential tasks. Furthermore, you will conduct monthly random reviews of incidents and service requests, analyze, and recommend improvements in quality.

Providing continuous feedback to clients and affected parties and updating all systems and/or portals as prescribed by the company are also crucial.

The ideal candidate will have experience of 7+ years with relevant experience of 3+ years in GCP. Good understanding of cloud architecture is also essential.

Deployment of cloud services using Terraform, defining and configuring alert thresholds as directed by the Cloud CoE, monitoring incident-triggered responses, reporting generation, and data submission basis requirements are also key skills required for this role.

Implementation of Cloud Security controls as directed by Info-Sec team, follow-up for audit and compliance point closure post-implementation, and Cloud Process Automation and Standardization are also important tasks.

A deep understanding of Service Management best practices frameworks such as ITIL and effective troubleshooting and analytical skills are also required.

Effective communication skills and an ability to develop relationships with customer external stakeholders' levels are also essential.

This role offers opportunities for work optimization including automation of work and may manage and implement projects within technology domain.
