Cloud Architectural Expert

GCP architects drive project success by owning technical development and delivery, crafting architectural designs, and mentoring teams. Their responsibilities include:

  • Leading and mentoring small-sized teams to ensure project success.
  • Establishing best practices for DevOps/SRE teams, cloud migration/modernization teams, and setting up governance, security, and operation frameworks in the cloud.
  • Planning end-to-end technical scope of projects and engaging with customers on planning sprints and deliveries.
  • Estimating effort, identifying risks, and providing technical support as needed.
  • Demonstrating the ability to multitask and re-prioritize tasks based on dynamic requirements.

Key Skills:

  • 12-15+ years of IT experience with a minimum 5-6 years in GCP design and development.
  • Extensive experience in GCP stack - compute, networking, storage, databases, IAM, governance, and compliance services.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and developing GCP services like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, GCP Networking, Dataflow, Pub/Sub.
  • Experience in integrating different cloud services and on-premise systems.
  • Experience in cloud assessment and cloud migrations.
  • Good knowledge of architectural design patterns, restful services, microservices architectures.
  • Good knowledge of DevSecOps tools and processes to set up robust CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong skills in technical documentation, deployment design, LLD/HLD, target architectures.
  • Requirements analysis and solution architecture design.
  • ETL, data integration, and data migration design.
  • Master data management system and process design and implementation.
