Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing sourcing value within Procurement COE for Canadian business, Corporate, and IT spend categories.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant sourcing/procurement experience and proven expertise leading sourcing initiatives, processes, and developing strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing sourcing value within Procurement COE
  • Managing relationships with key internal stakeholders
  • Executing the sourcing process

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant sourcing/procurement experience
  • Proven expertise leading sourcing initiatives, processes, and developing strategies
  • Ability to work with internal stakeholders
  • Familiarity with vendor contract language, SAP Ariba Contracts, and Sourcing Modules

Preferred skills:

  • Effective client relationship management skills
  • Financial analysis skills, including advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to lead negotiations to conclusion
  • Experience creating project plans and managing to plans
Responsibilities

This role involves providing sourcing value within Procurement COE for Canadian business, Corporate, and IT spend categories. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing sourcing value within Procurement COE
  • Managing relationships with key internal stakeholders
  • Executing the sourcing process

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of general procurement challenges and solutions and be able to apply project management concepts to the planning and execution of the sourcing process.

The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
