Job Title: Business Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our data analytics team.

This role will play a critical part in the migration of enterprise data solutions from traditional platforms to modern cloud-based systems, ensuring business continuity, data integrity, and performance optimization.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, working closely with data architects, developers, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and analyze analytics and reporting requirements.
  • Develop feasibility studies and propose technical solutions to meet business needs.
  • Work with the capabilities team to identify source systems, source data sets, and source tables required to fulfill business requirements.
  • Convert functional requirements into technical specifications.
  • Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional design documents.
  • Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing.
  • Facilitate communication between business and IT teams.
  • Support deployment of technical solutions to production.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimize data quality, consistency, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, BI developers, and business analysts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics or data engineering roles.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain business processes.
  • Experience working on analytics-related projects and implementations.
  • Good exposure to SAP ERP systems like ECC or S/4HANA.
  • Understanding of data modeling concepts.
  • Ability to identify relationships between data sets.
  • Exposure to SQL queries and ability to query data for analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Exposure to BI reporting tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI.
