Bristol Myers Squibb is dedicated to creating innovative solutions to transform patients' lives. As a Database Manager, EDC Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in contributing to the success of our R&D pipeline by effectively developing study-level EDC databases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and deploy study databases to collect clinical trial data, including configuring study database internal module connections and external system integrations.
  • Program study eCRFs, edit checks, and/or custom functions.
  • Contribute to the development of appropriate timelines for development and deployment of study databases.
  • Provide EDC technical expertise in Data Management and to the clinical study team members to support study decisions.
  • Manage work assignments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Identify and resolve issues which may negatively impact delivery of work. Seek support from leadership as needed.
  • Follow procedural documents when completing deliverables.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement activities, defining and implementing the changes required to create an industry-leading electronic data capture capability.
  • Support preparations and follow-up actions related to Health Authority inspections and internal audits.
  • Liaise with and review work delivered by external partners (e.g. Function Service Providers, CROs, technology providers, etc.) performing activities on behalf of BMS.
  • Develop strong and productive working relationships with key stakeholders throughout GDM, GDO, and BMS.
  • Represent the Company in interactions with key external partners as part of any committee or industry group.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • At least 4 years of global clinical trial expertise with a focus on EDC database development.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on clinical database development experience in Rave.
