As an Associate Director, EDC Database Developer, you will contribute directly to the BMS R&D pipeline in a leadership role, overseeing the development of clinical databases for assigned studies, programs, and assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently plan, coordinate, and deliver high-quality clinical databases for assigned studies, programs, and assets.
  • Develop therapeutic area database development strategies, collaborating with other functions to ensure timely and effective deliverables.
  • Hold accountability for resolving complex issues, leveraging technical and functional expertise to develop proactive solutions.
  • Lead initiatives with broad, cross-functional impact, driving strategic process and technology improvements.
  • Author database development procedural documents, ensuring they reflect industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain database development templates and tools to support the function.
  • Develop and conduct training and mentoring for team members on key activities and processes.
  • Ensure consistency and adherence to BMS standards within a therapeutic area and the department as a whole.
