As a skilled project planning engineer, you will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules using tools like Microsoft Project (MSP). Your role will involve coordinating with project teams to ensure timely delivery and optimizing resources while adhering to quality standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Scheduling: Develop detailed project schedules using MSP, outlining all activities, timelines, and milestones. Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect changes or delays.
  • Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with project managers, designers, and contractors to align planning activities with project goals. Communicate schedule updates and potential risks to stakeholders.
  • Resource Management: Plan and allocate resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to ensure efficient project execution. Identify resource constraints and propose solutions to address them.
  • Progress Tracking and Reporting: Track project progress against the baseline schedule and prepare status reports. Analyze delays and propose recovery plans to meet deadlines.
  • Risk Analysis and Mitigation: Identify potential risks affecting project timelines and develop mitigation strategies. Adjust plans proactively to minimize impact on project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in the interior fit-out industry, with a focus on corporate or commercial office projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project (MSP) is mandatory.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of interior fit-out processes, materials, and standards.
  • Proficiency in MSP and other planning tools (e.g., Primavera, Excel).
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with project cost control and budgeting is a plus.
