Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy & Market Development:
    • Develop and execute global export sales strategies to optimize market share.
    • Identify high-growth markets and segments to target strategic opportunities.
    • Set realistic sales targets and KPIs for the team to ensure accountability and motivation.
    • Analyze trends to refine pricing and product positioning for competitive advantage.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Nurture and grow existing client base across key export markets through regular communication and relationship-building activities.
    • Develop new B2B leads and long-term business relationships to drive revenue growth.
    • Handle negotiations, contracts, and payment terms with clients in a professional and timely manner.
  • Documentation & Logistics Oversight:
    • Oversee export processes and shipping documentation (LC, invoice, COO, phytosanitary, B/L etc.) to ensure compliance and accuracy.
    • Coordinate with logistics and freight forwarders for timely shipments and delivery of goods.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with international trade laws, export-import policies, and regulations to avoid penalties and fines.
    • Stay updated with changes in documentation, duties & regulations to maintain knowledge and expertise.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Manage a team of international sales executives to achieve sales targets and improve overall performance.
    • Guide the team on client management, trade documentation, and market strategy to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
    • Monitor team performance and conduct regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
    Required Qualifications & Skills
    • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Marketing, or Agri Trade to demonstrate academic excellence.
    • 5-8 years' experience in international B2B sales (Agro commodities preferred) to showcase industry expertise.
    • Strong understanding of global trade regulations and export documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
    • Proven record in meeting export sales targets to demonstrate achievement and motivation.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
    • Experience working with freight forwarders, customs agents, and international clients to develop network and expertise.
    • Tech-savvy: Familiar with CRM tools, Excel, and ERP systems to leverage technology for improved efficiency and productivity.
