Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Revenue Recognition professional to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in revenue accounting under US GAAP, particularly ASC 606, and play a critical role in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely recognition of revenue.

The successful candidate will lead the end-to-end revenue recognition process in compliance with US GAAP (ASC 606) and ensure accurate data flow and contract interpretations. They will also prepare revenue-related journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of revenue recognition processes.
  • Analyze customer contracts to determine proper revenue recognition treatment.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely follow-up for prompt collections from customers.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls over revenue recognition processes.
  • Support external and internal audits, providing necessary documentation and analysis.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in revenue recognition or technical accounting.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, especially ASC 606.
  • Experience with QuickBooks, ZOHO Books, XERO, etc., is preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
