As a Director of Software Engineering, you'll lead the Content Abuse Engineering charter, including the Content Abuse AI team and Content Abuse Apps Engineering. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of AI and apps engineers and managers
  • Partnering with cross-functional leads to define near-term and long-term roadmaps for content moderation
  • Working closely with leadership to build up the brand in India, with a focus on AI

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 15 years of experience in machine learning, particularly natural language processing, computer vision, generative AI, large language models, or similar areas
  • A Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related engineering experience
  • Over 10 years of experience in people management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong background in machine learning and data mining techniques
  • At least 5 years managing teams of 30+ individuals and first-line managers
  • Good understanding of large-scale engineering systems and some or all of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Machine Learning, distributed key-value stores, streaming processes, workflow scheduler, recommender systems, statistical methods, and experimental design
  • Experience in content moderation
