About the Role

This is a leadership opportunity to drive machine learning innovation and growth across our organization. The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for unlocking machine learning opportunities in media supply chain, captioning services, ad conditioning, metadata extraction, and building foundational machine learning training and inference pipelines at scale.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leading high-performing teams, driving technical excellence, and achieving ambitious project goals. They will be passionate about staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and will be able to mentor and guide team members to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of machine learning engineers and data scientists to develop and deploy scalable and resilient machine learning algorithms and systems
  • Designing, building, deploying, testing, maintaining, monitoring, and owning machine learning solutions at scale
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that technical solutions are aligned with business objectives and meet established standards
  • Mentoring and guiding team members to achieve their full potential and support individual growth and technical skills

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a highly experienced leader with a strong background in machine learning and data science. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 18+ years of experience managing Machine Learning teams
  • Experience designing, building, deploying, testing, maintaining, monitoring, and owning scalable, resilient, and distributed machine learning algorithms and systems
  • Proficiency in operating machine learning solutions at scale, covering the end-to-end ML workflow
  • Experience in one or more of Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Causal Inference
  • Familiarity with real-world ML systems (configuration, data collection, data verification, feature extraction, resource and process management, analytics, training, serving, validation, experimentation, monitoring)
  • Obsession for service observability, instrumentation, monitoring, and alerting
  • Knowledge of AWS, GCP or similar cloud platforms
  • PhD or masters in computer science or related discipline
