Building Information Modeling Strategist

The Building Information Modeling (BIM) Strategist plays a pivotal role in driving the adoption and implementation of BIM technologies to enhance design, planning, and execution processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • BIM Model Development Leadership: Ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications for BIM models on construction projects.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with design, engineering, and project management teams to integrate BIM workflows into project execution.
  • 3D Modeling and Clash Detection: Utilize specialized software to create detailed 3D models and perform clash detection.
  • BIM Standards and Training: Establish and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and best practices within the organization. Provide technical guidance and training to team members on BIM tools and methodologies.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with external stakeholders, including contractors and consultants, to ensure alignment on BIM deliverables.
  • Process Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of BIM implementation, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous innovation.
  • Strategic Planning: Support senior leadership in strategic planning and decision-making related to BIM adoption and technology investments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in BIM Tools: Proficiency in specialized software, with a strong portfolio of modeling projects.
  • Experience in BIM Management: Minimum 12 years of experience in BIM management, with a focus on infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Leadership Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in implementing BIM workflows and standards in large-scale projects.
