Plant Maintenance Lead

The role of Plant Maintenance Lead is to oversee maintenance activities and ensure the smooth operation of equipment. Key responsibilities include developing maintenance strategies, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of plant maintenance operations and development of strategic plans to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
  • Ensuring adherence to established safety protocols and regulatory requirements related to equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Collaboration with production, quality control, and procurement teams to optimize maintenance schedules and resources.
  • Implementation of energy-efficient practices and cost-saving initiatives to reduce energy consumption and operating costs.
  • Management of a team of personnel, providing guidance on training needs, performance assessments, and human safety culture.
  • Coordination with government agencies and external partners to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance and utilities management in a large-scale dairy, food, or pharma plant.
  • Professional certifications: Energy Manager, Boiler Engineer, TPM Facilitator, Six Sigma.
  • Advanced knowledge of electronics equipment monitoring tools and techniques.

Preferred Skills:

  • CAPEx project execution expertise.
  • Experience with AI and ML application.
  • EMS system familiarity.
