Job Title: Production Maintenance Expert

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair machinery used in nutraceutical manufacturing, adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Set up, calibrate, and adjust machines for accurate and efficient production, ensuring compliance with good manufacturing practices.
  • Conduct regular equipment checks to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor product quality during machine operations and adhere to guidelines.
  • Record machine data, production outputs, and downtime logs accurately.
  • Ensure material feeding, changeovers, and line clearance are carried out as required.
  • Rapidly report and escalate equipment malfunctions or abnormalities.
  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities in coordination with the engineering team.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment, following good hygiene practices and safety standards.
  • Assist during audits, inspections, and documentation verification.
Experience:
  • A minimum of 2–4 years of experience in machinery operations within Nutraceuticals, Food Manufacturing, or Pharmaceuticals is required.
  • Hands-on experience with blending, granulation, encapsulation, filling, or packaging machines is necessary.
  • Familiarity with food technology processes (mixing, drying, stability testing) is essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Detailed understanding of machine operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of food safety, quality control, and hygienic practices.
  • Familiarity with GMP, GHP, HACCP, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ability to conduct and document in-process checks accurately.
  • Attention to detail, ownership, and adherence to SOPs.
  • Collaborative skills with supervisors, QA, and maintenance teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Diploma/Degree in Food Technology, Biotechnology, or related fields.
  • Certification in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or ISO 22000.
  • Experience in supporting product development or scale-up trials.
  • Knowledge of mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.
