Job Title: Chief Sports Executive

The Chief Sports Executive will spearhead the development and implementation of sports programs, physical education, and wellness initiatives across the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate a comprehensive vision for the sports department and implement policies to achieve it.
  • Oversee sports programs, tournaments, training camps, and physical education curriculum.
  • Manage sports facilities, ensuring proper maintenance and utilization.
  • Identify and mentor talented athletes to represent the institution at various levels.
  • Collaborate with coaches, trainers, and faculty to promote fitness and sportsmanship.
  • Organize workshops and seminars on health, fitness, and sports.
  • Evaluate the performance of sports coaches and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote ethical sports practices.
  • Develop and implement sports policies as per UGC/AIU norms.
  • Guide talented sportspersons to represent the institution at national and international levels.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Doctoral degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or related field.
  • 15 years of experience in sports administration, coaching, or sports management.
  • A proven track record of managing large-scale sports events and teams.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of modern training methods and sports technology.
  • A record of representing the university/college at inter-university competitions or State/National championships.
  • Knowledge of UGC, AIU, and national sports policies.
