Senior Data Validator

About the Role:

Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Python, Pandas, REST API, and testing with a thorough understanding of data validation, data processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive automated and manual test cases for data validation and transformation processes.
  • Verify data integrity across various sources including APIs, databases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data flows and ensure quality throughout the pipeline.
  • Utilize Python scripts using Pandas for data comparison, profiling, and anomaly detection.
  • Test data against RESTful APIs for correctness, performance, and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Work with MongoDB for data storage, retrieval, and intermediate queries.
Required Skills:
  • Strong expertise in Python and Pandas for data manipulation and testing.
  • Hands-on experience using tools like Postman, Pytest, or similar.
  • Experience with data validation, data profiling, and data quality frameworks.
  • Familiarity with MongoDB and NoSQL data models is an asset.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
