Job Title: Piping Stress Engineer

As a skilled Piping Stress Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and analysis of piping systems. This position requires strong technical expertise in stress analysis, pipe support design, and surge analysis.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform stress analysis using Caesar II software and design pipe supports for pipelines/piping above-ground and underground.
  • Ability to identify various data required to perform surge analysis for each project stage.
  • Surge Analysis of metallic & non-metallic using PIPENET software.

You should be able to extract surge force from PIPENET that to be input in the stress analysis and also need to identify the surge force is appropriate or not. Additionally, you will prepare surge analysis reports that will be submitted to the employer as official deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to understand the process and analyse the systems for pressure surges that could result from various possible events and provide recommendations to mitigate the same.
  • Conduct technical reviews of stress analysis and pipe support calculations for underground and above ground piping to ensure compliance to relevant industry standards and safe design practices.
  • Ensure all applicable static and dynamic load cases are correctly applied in the

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of design codes and standards applicable for Pipe Stress Analysis (ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, ISO 14692).
  • Prepare Job execution plan and Work Instructions / Standard drawings, based on ITB requirements.
  • Estimate the man-hours for projects / proposal and other horizontal/Vertical work share.

You will work closely with clients, project managers, and vendors to ensure the successful completion of projects. A strong ability to communicate complex ideas and collaborate with others is essential for this role.
