Job Description

This role involves assisting in the operations and quality control activities in the cold finishing section of a ductile iron pipe manufacturing facility.

  • The support team will oversee the smooth functioning of finishing processes, ensure product quality compliance, and coordinate with other departments to meet production targets and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operations of the cold zone finishing process, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with established procedures and standards.
  • Utilize SAP and other IT-related applications to monitor and control operations, ensuring that all data is accurately recorded and reported.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations, conducting regular audits and inspections to identify and rectify any potential issues.
  • Use analytical skills to identify areas for improvement in the cold zone finishing process, implementing changes as necessary to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Liaise with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations, resolving any conflicts or issues that may arise.
  • Demonstrate a global mindset and commercial acumen, understanding the wider business context and making decisions that align with the company's strategic objectives.
