We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Professional to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. As an Area Sales Manager for Electrosurgery products, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets and driving business growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve primary and secondary AOP (Annual Operating Plan) of product units and revenue
  • Develop and execute accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans to meet planned AOP
  • Drive the value proposition to protect ASPs (Average Selling Prices) for better margins
  • Stay up-to-date with competitive products, features, strengths, and tactics for timely modifications of strategy
  • Establish and expand distribution networks for market coverage
  • Conduct regular distributor reviews to ensure effective inventory management, daily coordination, customer relationships, discipline, compliance, and proper coverage
  • Set targets for channel teams, monitor performance, and conduct quarterly evaluations
  • Provide clear communication on performance and revenue gaps
  • Forecast and review distributor performances
  • Maintain expertise in technological applications and analyze gaps in distributor teams' product demonstrations, training them for high-quality demonstrations
  • Negotiate prices with corporates to maximize profitability
  • Develop and retain key opinion leaders (KOLs) and top 20 key accounts in assigned markets
  • Create quality market development activities with KOLs for long-term business associations
  • Drive customer engagement for share growth and size growth through KOL-initiated live workshops, trainings, and COE initiatives
  • Plan and facilitate execution of training and technical programs for key hospitals
  • Maintain productive and positive business relationships with non-medical customers, hospital administrators, and BMEs

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • BS/BE/BTech in Biomedical Engineering; PG in Business Management is desirable
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Surgical Products, preferably endoscopic range
  • Extensive experience in the entire Tamil Nadu market
  • Good knowledge of digital adaptiveness platforms - MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to travel extensively
  • Experience in trade markets

Compensation Package:

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. The package also includes benefits such as health insurance, retirement planning, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
