Optimize Production Planning

This role is pivotal in optimizing production planning and cost efficiency across global operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage blend schedules for pet coke feedstock across regions, ensuring seamless production and delivery.
  • Track inventories and production rates to ensure alignment with shipment schedules and maximize profitability.
  • Evaluate sourcing options and logistics to minimize costs while meeting quality standards and leveraging AI for smarter planning and cost control.
  • Build and maintain business models using AI tools and linear programming (LP) for predictive planning, enabling data-driven decision making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to drive business outcomes and ensure the success of key initiatives.
  • Analyze data and generate reports on production, inventory, and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing valuable insights for process improvements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in planning and blending, preferably in carbon or metallurgical industries, with expertise in linear programming modeling.
  • Strong analytical skills, SAP proficiency, and advanced Excel skills, as well as familiarity with AI tools for data analysis and optimization.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and adaptability in a global team environment, with a proven track record of driving business outcomes and delivering results.
