Electrical Engineering Project Lead

About the Role:

  • Manage and oversee electrical installations in manufacturing construction projects, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Possess a deep understanding of utilities and utility setup like diesel generators, DG synchronizing panels, large LT transformers, electrical installations, HVAC systems, STP, ETP, WTP etc.
  • Lead the design, control, and implementation of electrical systems, utilizing blueprints and technical diagrams to inform decision-making.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes that adhere to global engineering standards.
  • Oversee engineering projects from inception to delivery, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
  • Evaluate installation and application alignment with customer needs and safety standards, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
  • Collaborate with technicians to design and apply new system processes, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Perform quality and performance analysis, providing actionable insights to drive improvement.
  • Compile data and report on test results, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Assess equipment needs, calculate costs, and contribute to budget preparation.
  • Monitor maintenance and inspection plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Review drawings and engineering specifications, verifying adherence to tolerances and requirements.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven expertise as an electrical engineer, with a strong background in design and calculation software.
  • Hands-on experience using computer-aided design (CAD) and other relevant tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering codes and safety standards, including ISO and OHSAS guidelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on analytical thinking and creative solutions.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of environment, health, and safety (EHS) standards, with experience working with multiple contractors at site.
  • Experience working with PMC teams, handling documentation, and collaborating with government agencies and local authorities.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, with a focus on scope management and change management.
  • High-level problem-solving techniques, utilizing quality tools to drive continuous improvement.
