Software Engineer in Test

This role is ideal for engineers who are passionate about automation, distributed systems, and continuous quality improvements in modern infrastructure setups.

  • We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer in Test to join our team.

In this role, you will design and implement robust automation frameworks, validate complex workflows across hybrid and on-prem environments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain enterprise-grade standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases covering cluster lifecycle management, security, networking, and platform integrations.
  • Build and maintain automation frameworks for REST APIs, UI testing, system-level, and end-to-end workflows.
  • Perform performance and scalability testing across VM-based deployments and Kubernetes environments.
  • Validate enterprise-grade scenarios like backup and restore, air-gapped installs, software upgrades, and more.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in automation testing, preferably in infrastructure, database, or enterprise software.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and Java.
  • Experience testing distributed systems or microservices.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, hybrid environments, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, cloud-native technologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • Experience with enterprise security validation, performance benchmarking tools, and agile development practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native technologies.
