Test Automation Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Test Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our automation effort, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our testing processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the automation team, influencing the direction of the automation effort and its schedule and prioritization.
- Design and develop test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies.
- Develop reusable functions to improve the robustness, reusability, and maintainability of test scripts.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines and other automated processes.
- Collaborate with developers to identify and prioritize areas for automation and provide training on best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in test automation and incorporate new technologies and techniques into our frameworks.
- Conduct regular code reviews and ensure that all code meets our high standards for quality and maintainability.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of test automation principles and practices.
- Experience with Selenium, Appium, and/or other test automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or other programming languages used in automation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and version control systems.
