Automation Testing Specialist

As an Automation Testing Associate within our global team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the superior quality of our software and promptly resolving any issues. Your expertise in Selenium, Cucumber, Java, and BDD/TDD will be vital in this endeavor.

Your responsibilities will include conducting systematic application functionality tests, diligently documenting results, and ensuring clear communication with all relevant stakeholders. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to our monthly/quarterly testing results reports and to automate Regression and Functional test cases.

Job responsibilities:

  • Perform regression and functional user acceptance testing for business process systems.
  • Assist in parallel running of current and new systems to validate results.
  • Document UAT test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Define and prepare necessary test data.
  • Identify and analyze defects, collaborating with teams for quality assurance and timely bug resolution.
  • Assist in delivering monthly/quarterly reports on testing results alongside testing duties.
  • Automate regression and functional test cases.
  • Collaborate closely with technology teams for implementation.
Required Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must have at least 6 years of work experience. You should also possess expert-level knowledge of Selenium, Cucumber, and Java. Additionally, you should demonstrate expertise in BDD/TDD Behavior Driven Development/Test Driven Development and have sound knowledge of Version Control (Bitbucket, GIT).

You should exhibit good reporting skills, manage test data using SQLs, and develop automation frameworks using core Java.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

While not mandatory, it would be beneficial if you had knowledge of Test Design tools like Conformiq and maintained Keyword, Data, and Hybrid frameworks.

Applying your knowledge of Agile practices, conducting automation feasibility studies, collaborating with technology teams for implementation, automating test design using testing tools, and deriving ROI from automation feasibility studies would also make you an ideal candidate for this position.
