Electronics Engineer - Power Electronics Specialist

">">About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team and lead the development of high-performance hardware for power electronics applications.

This role involves designing complex, multi-layer printed circuit boards (PCBs) that meet stringent electromagnetic interference (EMI)/electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating schematic diagrams, PCB layouts, footprints, and libraries in Altium Designer, with a focus on optimizing signal integrity, power integrity, thermal performance, and high-current handling.

  • Design and develop complex, multi-layer PCBs for power electronics, including DC-DC converters, inverters, switching mode power supplies (SMPS), and motor drives.
  • Develop and maintain accurate schematic diagrams, PCB layouts, footprints, and libraries in Altium Designer.
  • Optimize PCB designs for signal integrity, power integrity, thermal performance, and high-current handling.
  • Perform design rule checks (DRC) and electrical rule checks (ERC) to ensure manufacturability and testability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of hands-on experience in PCB design, ideally in power electronics.
  • Advanced proficiency in Altium Designer, with strong understanding of EMI/EMC principles and practical implementation.
