Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Design Engineer to drive the hardware architecture and component selection for our next-generation automotive audio system.

  • You will specialize in selecting and recommending semiconductor solutions, designing circuits and PCBs, and developing electronic components that power car audio systems, ensuring high-quality sound and seamless integration with vehicle technology.
  • This role involves collaborating closely with architects, safety engineers, and buyers to ensure chosen components meet performance, reliability, and cost requirements.
  • You will have expertise in recommending audio components, including amplifiers, microphone interfaces, digital signal processors, power management ICs, speaker interfaces, and digital audio interfaces.
  • Familiarity with automotive safety and quality standards is required, such as ISO 26262 and AEC-Q100.
  • Experience with acoustic measurement instruments and audio data acquisition systems is necessary.
  • Proactive collaboration with silicon vendor partners to drive design features and technology road maps is expected.
  • Support the HW Engineering team during advanced design phases, system architecture definitions, and ECU development/qualifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Telecommunication, or equivalent Engineering is required.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in automotive embedded electronics designs or hardware/system architectural roles is necessary.
  • Knowledge of In-vehicle infotainment systems, Audio systems, Automotive vehicle connectivity systems, and ECU design, development, and testing is required.
  • Experience in Automotive ECU design, Audio standards, automotive testing and certification is also necessary.
  • Strong teamwork spirit, excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
