Senior Electronics Compliance Specialist

Overview:

Embitel-technologies is seeking a seasoned Senior Electronics Compliance Specialist to oversee the implementation of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) requirements across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with design engineers, project managers, and regulatory agencies to ensure EMC/EMI compliance.
  • Analyze schematics and circuit board layouts for adherence to EMC design practices and guidelines.
  • Develop system and circuit board level EMC protection strategies, including filtering and shielding techniques.
  • Conduct design reviews to ensure electronic devices and systems are designed for EMI and EMC compliance.
  • Interpret EMC standards and regulations to create test plans and procedures for compliance testing.
  • Perform EMC testing and analysis on electronic products and systems to assess electromagnetic emissions and susceptibility.
  • Analyze test results, identify EMC issues, and recommend design modifications and mitigation strategies to achieve compliance.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Extensive experience in digital and analog circuit design, as well as schematic capture.
  • Proficiency in PCB layout processes and tools.
  • Strong understanding of simulations through functional and logical models, as well as system analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment, including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscillators, signal generators, and EMC chambers.
  • Knowledge of RF and EMC standards, including FCC, CISPR-25, ECE-R10, AIS-004, IEC, and EN.

Additional Skills:

  • Sound problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of ECUs driving brushed DC motors.
  • Understanding of passenger vehicle EE architecture.
