Embedded hardware engineers at Morphedo play a pivotal role in designing electronics for unforgiving conditions. This position demands precision, resilience, and creativity to architect, test, and validate hardware for healthcare, aerospace, and IoT applications where reliability is paramount.

The primary responsibilities include

  • Designing PCBs for dialysis machines that operate reliably in small-town hospitals with frequent power cuts
  • Ruggedizing hardware for aerospace devices facing sudden temperature and pressure changes
  • Designing ultra-low-power boards for IoT devices used in large-scale municipal water monitoring
  • Ensuring hardware designs remain compliant with EMC/EMI and safety standards under extreme conditions

In addition to these tasks, embedded hardware engineers must collaborate with firmware and mechanical engineers for end-to-end system integration. They own hardware validation, debugging, and certification compliance while continuously evaluating and adopting new components, tools, and design methodologies to enhance performance and efficiency.

Morphedo seeks talented professionals with the following qualifications:

  • B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in PCB design and embedded hardware engineering
  • Proficiency with design tools (Altium, Eagle, KiCAD)
  • Strong understanding of EMC/EMI testing and certification processes
  • Familiarity with ruggedization techniques for aerospace/defence and power optimization for IoT systems
