BSP Engineer (Linux)

Experience:

5+ Years of Experience Required

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Linux specialist to develop and maintain Yocto-based Embedded Linux distributions, design, implement, and customize Board Support Packages (BSPs) for target hardware.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain Embedded Linux distributions using Yocto Project.
  • Design, implement, and customize BSPs for various target hardware platforms.
  • Work on the Linux kernel, bootloaders, and device drivers.
  • Optimize system performance, boot time, and memory usage for efficient operation.
  • Implement secure boot and update mechanisms to ensure data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless system integration.
  • Provide in-depth debugging and root cause analysis for complex system-level issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong experience in Embedded Linux BSP development.
  • Minimum 1 year hands-on experience with Yocto Project.
  • Solid knowledge of the Linux kernel, bootloaders (U-Boot), and device drivers.
  • Proficiency in C programming and cross-compilation toolchains.
  • Strong understanding of embedded hardware architectures.
  • Experience with build systems, version control (Git), and debugging tools.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Embedded Linux and experience working with Yocto Project. They will be able to design, implement, and customize Board Support Packages (BSPs) for target hardware, as well as work on the Linux kernel, bootloaders, and device drivers.
