Sales Business Development Specialist

Job Responsibilities:
• Lead Generation & Outreach: Develop and execute targeted outbound sales campaigns to connect with principals, administrators, directors, and trustees of schools and colleges.
• Pipeline Development: Identify, engage, and nurture leads, converting cold outreach into warm conversations and scheduled demos
• Messaging & Campaigns: Create personalized email sequences, LinkedIn engagement strategies, and cold-calling pitches to maximize responses.
• Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Business Development to optimize lead conversion strategies.
• Market Intelligence: Stay updated with education industry trends, competitor solutions, and market demands to refine sales strategies.
• Performance Tracking: Utilize CRM and analytics tools to monitor and improve sales funnel efficiency and campaign performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience in outbound sales, inside sales, or demand generation, ideally in SaaS, EdTech, or B2B sales.
• Experience in the education industry is a plus—understanding how schools and colleges make technology decisions is a key advantage.
• Expertise in sales automation tools & CRMs such as Apollo.Io, Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Lusha, HubSpot, etc.
• Strong ability to craft compelling outreach messages and execute multi-channel engagement campaigns (email, LinkedIn, and cold calls).
• Data-driven & results-oriented—track performance metrics, optimize campaigns and enhance conversion rates.
• Strategic thinker—capable of managing end-to-end lead generation and nurturing prospects into long-term clients.
• Excellent communication & persuasion skills to engage senior decision-makers and influence purchasing decisions.
• Ability to handle objections effectively and drive high-quality sales conversions.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in outbound sales or demand generation, preferably in a tech or SaaS company.
