About the Role

In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for managing existing "Emerging customer" cable assembly business and identifying new opportunities for growth. Your primary focus will be on evaluating and transitioning opportunities from the Business Development Specialist, confirming initial customer requirements, and coordinating with Sales, Engineering, and Customer teams to close all technical and business assumptions.

You will also be responsible for preparing production quotes, obtaining customer commitment, and coordinating production launch of new opportunities. Additionally, you will work closely with Sales, Operations, Sourcing, Design Engineering, and/or Project Management teams to ensure seamless coordination of activities required to cost and quote cable assembly opportunities.

Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to increase revenue, profit, and market share of the "Emerging customer" cable assembly business, while implementing profitable pricing strategies, cost variance improvements, capacity planning, and quality improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage existing "Emerging customer" cable assembly business and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Evaluate and transition opportunities from the Business Development Specialist.
  • Confirm initial customer requirements and coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and Customer teams.
  • Prepare production quotes and obtain customer commitment.
  • Coordinate production launch of new opportunities.
  • Work closely with Sales, Operations, Sourcing, Design Engineering, and/or Project Management teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • 7+ years of Sales & Marketing /Product Management experience in the electro-mechanical device industry.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • PC skills – word processing, spreadsheet, database management, and presentation software.
  • SAP experience.
  • Organizational skills to anticipate, plan, prioritize and self-monitor workload.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively work with co-workers and external contacts.
  • Must be self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Proactive rather than reactive, with personal initiative.
  • Comfortable discussing technical issues related to cable assemblies with Sales and Customers.
Salary Range

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
