Laundry Supervisor Role

The Laundry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laundry facility, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Job Description

The Laundry Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Conducting regular inventory of uniforms and linens to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Coordinating with employees to complete laundry requests in a timely manner.
  • Inspecting linens and terry for damage and reporting any issues to management.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
  • Training new employees on laundry procedures, including safety protocols and equipment operation.
  • Monitoring washing, drying, and drying machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Speaking with others using clear and professional language.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the Laundry Supervisor should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
