Job Title: Laundry Operations Manager

This position oversees the daily operations of laundry facilities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and possesses excellent communication skills.

  • Complete inventory of uniforms and linens on a regular basis.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
  • Develop and implement effective procedures for equipment operation and employee training.
  • Ensure all laundry requests are fulfilled promptly and efficiently.
  • Operate and monitor washing, drying, and cleaning machinery to maintain optimal performance.
  • Inspect linens and terry for damage or wear.
  • Collaborate with management to optimize employee performance, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluation.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are professional and well-maintained.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors using clear and concise language.

Required Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in laundry operations or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing teams and implementing process improvements.
