Alumni Engagement Specialist

The Alumni Engagement Specialist will conceptualize, execute, and manage the Alumni Engagement Strategy of an esteemed institution. This role serves as a bridge between alumni, students, faculty, and the institution to foster lifelong connections, leverage alumni expertise for student development and placements, and enhance the institution's reputation and brand equity.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Build and maintain relationships with alumni across batches, programs, and geographies.
    • Design and implement structured engagement models (mentorship programs, alumni councils, networking forums, digital communities).
    • Organize reunions, networking meets, HR/Industry conclaves, and regional/global alumni chapter events.
  • Event Planning & Management:
    • Mentorship programs connecting alumni with current students for career guidance and industry insights.
    • Collaborate with academic departments to involve alumni in guest lectures, panel discussions, and student development initiatives.
  • Communication & Outreach:
    • Develop and manage consistent alumni communication (newsletters, magazines, social media engagement, portal updates).
    • Showcase alumni success stories to strengthen institutional brand and inspire current students.
  • Placement Support:
    • Actively leverage alumni network for internship, live project, and final placement opportunities.
    • Engage senior alumni for corporate connect introductions and institutional collaborations.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Track alumni engagement KPIs (event participation, mentorship hours, placement support).
    • Provide leadership with reports, dashboards, and impact analysis on alumni engagement initiatives.
