Reports To: Director- Corporate Relations & Career Services

Role Summary
The Alumni Relations Officer will be responsible for conceptualizing, executing, and managing the Alumni Engagement Strategy of Presidency College. This role will act as a bridge between alumni, students, faculty, and the institution to foster lifelong connections, leverage alumni expertise for student development and placements, and enhance the reputation and brand equity of the College.
Key Responsibilities1. Alumni Engagement & Relationship Management
- Build, nurture, and strengthen long-term relationships with alumni across batches, programs, and geographies.
- Maintain and update a comprehensive alumni database with structured segmentation (industry, geography, domain, seniority).
- Design and implement structured engagement models (mentorship programs, alumni councils, networking forums, digital communities).
2. Event & Program Management
- Organize alumni reunions, networking meets, HR/Industry conclaves, and regional/global alumni chapter events.
- Plan and execute mentorship programs connecting alumni with current students for career guidance and industry insights.
- Collaborate with academic departments to involve alumni in guest lectures, panel discussions, and student development initiatives.
3. Strategic Outreach & Communication
- Develop and manage consistent alumni communication (newsletters, magazines, social media engagement, alumni portal updates).
- Showcase alumni success stories to strengthen institutional brand and inspire current students.
- Establish an alumni volunteer system for structured participation in institutional events and outreach.
4. Placement & Institutional Development Support
- Actively leverage alumni network for internship, live project, and final placement opportunities.
- Engage senior alumni for corporate connect introductions and institutional collaborations.
- Support fundraising, sponsorships, and endowment initiatives through alumni contributions.
5. Data Analytics & Reporting
- Track alumni engagement KPIs (event participation, mentorship hours, placement support, contributions).
- Provide leadership with reports, dashboards, and impact analysis on alumni engagement initiatives.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proven track record (5–10 years) in Alumni Relations (will be preferred) / Corporate Relations / Career Services in reputed educational institutions.
- Strong interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, digital).
- Experience in event management, stakeholder management, and corporate outreach.
- Ability to leverage digital platforms and CRM systems for alumni engagement.
- Strategic thinker with operational execution capability.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Management / Education Administration / HR / Marketing or equivalent.
- 5–10 years of relevant alumni relations experience, with demonstrated achievements in alumni engagement, networking, and institutional branding.
- Preference for candidates who have previously set up or scaled alumni relations functions at leading institutions.
