About the Business Development Executive Role:
- We are seeking a visionary Business Development Executive to spearhead the launch and growth of a bespoke jewellery business from scratch.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the setup of the business, encompassing concept development and operational execution.
- Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy, pricing, and positioning.
- Foster relationships with key suppliers, designers, and artisans.
- Sales & Client Engagement:
- Promote direct sales to high-net-worth individuals and luxury clientele.
- Deliver exceptional, personalized client experiences that reflect the brand's bespoke ethos.
- Nurture long-term client relationships through high-touch engagement.
- Team Leadership:
- Hire, train, and lead a high-performing sales and operations team.
- Inspire a culture of excellence, attention to detail, and customer obsession.
- Brand Identity & Marketing:
- Collaborate with brand and marketing teams to shape the brand identity.
- Participate in luxury events, exhibitions, and private viewings to drive brand visibility.
- Financial Performance & Operational Accountability:
- Owning the full Profit & Loss (P&L) for the business.
- Monitoring key business metrics and driving efficiency and profitability.
- Overseeing inventory, production timelines, and customer deliveries.
Essential Requirements:
- 8-10 years of proven success in the Gem & jewelry industry or luxury sectors.
- Demonstrated success in sales and client management in a high-end or bespoke environment.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a pleasing and professional personality.
- Deep understanding of luxury consumer behavior and expectations.
- Experience with P&L responsibility, budgeting, and operational leadership.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to build something exceptional from scratch.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for craftsmanship.
