Customer Support Representative

At Platton Inc, we are seeking a skilled Customer Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries, providing accurate information regarding shipment status, and collaborating with operations and sales teams to ensure client needs are met. The successful candidate will be proficient in CRM software and MS Office Suite, with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide accurate information regarding shipment status, delivery schedules, and logistics services.
- Collaborate with operations and sales teams to ensure client needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.
- Assist customers with booking, tracking, and managing shipments through our online platform.
- Address customer concerns, handle complaints, and provide solutions to improve the customer experience.
- Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system.
- Monitor shipment progress and provide proactive updates to customers regarding potential delays or issues.
- Gather customer feedback and work with internal teams to enhance service quality.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer support, preferably in logistics or freight forwarding.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Intermediate or higher level of English.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
