Guest Service Ambassador

This role is pivotal in providing exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless stays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process all guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and late check-out requests with precision.
  • Secure payment, activate reissue room keys, and verify rates match market codes to maintain efficiency.
  • Document exceptions, verify billing for guests, and communicate effectively with staff to resolve issues.
  • Advise guests of messages, clear departures, and coordinate with Housekeeping to track room status and guest concerns.
  • File guest paperwork, operate the telephone switchboard station, run daily reports, contingency lists, and credit card authorization reports.
  • Supply guests with directions and information, answer and process all guest calls, questions, or concerns, and ensure each has been met to their satisfaction.
  • Arrange transportation for guests and visitors, secure bank at the beginning and end of shift, cash-guests checks, process payments, vouchers, paid-outs, charges, and provide change.
  • Notify Loss Prevention Security of any reports of theft and follow company policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: No prior work experience required.
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience necessary.
  • License or Certification: None required.

Maintain confidentiality, protect company assets, welcome and acknowledge guests according to standards, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, thank guests with genuine appreciation, communicate clearly and professionally, answer telephones using etiquette, develop positive working relationships, support team goals, listen and respond to employee concerns, comply with quality assurance standards, stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, move objects weighing less than 10 pounds without assistance, and perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
