About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and coordinate efforts from design and engineering teams to support business development, procurement, and construction teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of energy storage systems, including battery management systems, and integration with wind, solar, or hybrid configurations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Optimize hybrid plants to reduce levelized cost of energy every year for new hybrid projects.

2. Conduct comparative analysis between various battery/storage technologies and select the most suitable solution for each project.

3. Evaluate emerging technologies for potential integration into existing systems.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely responses to project requirements.

5. Coordinate with owners engineers to complete detailed engineering for awarded hybrid/battery projects.

6. Develop optimization tools to improve generation and dispatch variability in hybrid plant models.

7. Execute optimization schemes using Monte Carlo simulations to achieve optimal designs.

8. Support battery-related projects across the platform from a technical standpoint and Work Experience:

- Bachelors degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering; Masters degree is a plus.

- Minimum 8 years of experience in the renewable energy sector and minimum 2 years of role relevant experience.

- Demonstrated knowledge of recent developments in the battery industry.

- Experience in handling at least one Storage/FDRE tender.

- Proficiency in Battery Management Systems (BMS) and integration of battery and BMS with other systems like grid, solar, and wind plants.

- Strong design thinking and innovation mindset.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Expertise in energy storage systems, battery management systems, and integration with wind, solar, or hybrid configurations

• Strong understanding of business development, procurement, and construction processes

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
