Seeking an Energy Storage Design Engineer to lead the design and development of Battery Energy Storage Systems BESS ensuring compliance with industry standards safety regulations and client requirements Lead the design of BESS including electrical mechanical and thermal aspects Develop and review detailed designs calculations and specifications Ensure compliance with industry standards e g IEEE IEC safety regulations and client requirements Ensure that battery storage designs comply with relevant safety standards codes and regulations including those related to electrical systems fire safety and environmental impact Develop and implement safety protocols for battery handling installation and operation Work closely with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers project managers and field technicians to ensure successful project execution Stay abreast of the latest advancements in battery technologies and energy storage solutions integrating new technologies and methodologies into design practices Participate in research and development activities to explore innovative solutions for enhancing battery storage systems Design and development of Battery Energy Storage SystemsGrow your career with a fast growing renewable energy company Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field 3 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on BESS or related industries Experience with energy storage technologies e g batteries inverters Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and methodologies e g CAD CAE Knowledge of mechanical and thermal engineering principles Knowledge of Plexos software designing Excellent problem-solving communication and collaboration skills Experience with BESS design software e g ETAP SKM Familiarity with industry standards e g IEEE NEC and regulatory requirements Emergency response and firefighting procedures Our client is a leading renewable energy company setting up battery energy storage systems for its projects across India Opportunity to be a part of a fast-growing renewable energy company where innovation meets sustainability and where your contributions are valued and rewarded
