Electrical Engineer Job Description

As a key member of our team, the Electrical Engineer will play a crucial role in designing and developing innovative energy storage solutions for grid-scale applications.

  • Design, engineering, testing, and validation of PCS/ Inverters/ EMS/ Lithium Battery based Energy Storage Solutions (ESS) for Grid Scale Application.
  • Conversant with applicable standards/Codes for Grid Integration.
  • Review of Tender Requirements and develop engineering solutions for ESS complying applicable codes/standards and SLAs.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, sizing calculation, engineering, selection, creating specifications, testing, validation of PCS, EMS, ESS Solution, Transformer, Switchgear, Cable and associated electrical components for Grid Scale Application.
  • Integration of PCS, EMS, ESS Solution with Grid Connected Renewable Plants - Creating Engineering Documents - BOM, Wiring Diagram/Schematics, Specifications, Test Procedures and Test Plans to comply tender requirement.
  • Testing and Performance Validation at Renewable Project Site.
  • Preparing Scope of Supply, Creating Specifications of PCS, EMS, Transformers, Switchgears & associated components to establish supply chain.
  • Evaluation of vendors and their Technical proposals.
  • Keep Track of upcoming Technologies and Competition Benchmarking.
  • Frequent Traveling to Renewable Project Sites.

Requirements:

  • B Tech in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 Yrs of hands-on experience in Renewable Industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Strong understanding of design, engineering, testing, and validation processes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
