Electrical Design Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for complex projects.

Job Description:

As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing electrical systems for complex projects;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution;
  • Conducting technical reviews of junior engineers' work and providing guidance and mentorship as needed;
  • Staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory standards in electrical engineering.

You will be working closely with clients to understand their project requirements and translate them into practical electrical designs. Your expertise in both Electrical and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems will be essential in delivering high-quality solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field;
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical design for complex projects;
  • Expertise in both Electrical and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems;
  • Proficiency in Navisworks and other relevant design software;
  • Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) in electrical design;
  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices and LEED certification processes;
  • Strong leadership and team management skills;
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills;
  • Experience in proposal writing and business development activities.
