Business Analyst - Trade Booking and Pricing

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in a trade booking and pricing system. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing large data sets, identifying trends, and implementing controls around the input and output data from our Calypso application.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stakeholders across the organization to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring seamless integration with our systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze large data sets using data storage, management, and analysis tools to establish the lineage of various data points.
  • Develop reports and present findings to project stakeholders.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and implement controls around the input and output data from the Calypso application.
  • Active involvement in system integration testing (SIT), quality assurance (QA), and user integration testing (UAT) cycle.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 9+ years of experience in a business analyst or related role, with a strong understanding of finance and risk domains.
  • Good understanding of finance infrastructure, processes, and controls.
  • Experience in product control or finance change projects is highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of the Calypso application and all its modules.
  • Fundamental understanding of FX, IR, Credit, Commodities, and Structured Trading products.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills to coordinate with business and technology stakeholders and team members.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Proficiency in SQL and strong data analysis skills.
  • Exposure to Python is desirable.
