Our organization is seeking a seasoned Cost Manager to assume key responsibilities in the monitoring and analysis of costs for large-scale projects.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project cost management, with extensive experience in the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) industry.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Track and analyze project costs across various phases, ensuring alignment with financial plans.
  • Prepare detailed variance reports to identify causes of deviations between budgeted and actual costs.
  • Validate expenses, including petty cash and non-PO based expenditures, and assess supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with project teams to monitor progress and update percentage-of-completion calculations as per International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with IFRS, particularly IFRS 15, IFRS 9, IFRS 16, and IAS 16.
  • Industry-specific knowledge of EPC project lifecycles, cost drivers, and risks.
  • Technical proficiency in project management and accounting software.
  • Strong analytical skills in cost analysis, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Effective communication skills to present cost information and insights to management.
