Backend Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our dynamic R&D group. As a key member, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and developing new features and capabilities for our microservices backend.

The R&D group is building the enablement platform for current and next-generation media experiences in personalization, content interaction, and social interaction, which are core to our value proposition.

Key aspects of the workflow include integrating with various video and audio live/VOD assets, personalized processing, and distribution across the world to end-users, while allowing real-time collaboration among users.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, design, and develop our company's platform.
  • Maintain and improve existing infrastructure, tools, and workflows.
  • Evaluate quality software delivery through automated component testing, end-to-end testing, and performance testing.
  • Explore and recommend innovative approaches to improve platform performance and scalability.

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering from a leading university, at least 8 years of experience as a Software/Backend Engineer in Python, and strong understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases.
