Site Reliability Expert

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to lead reliability practices, ensure scalable systems, and collaborate with development teams to maintain highly available services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and operate reliable, scalable production services using infrastructure as code tools.
  • Define and implement service level indicators (SLIs) and service level objectives (SLOs).
  • Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and postmortem processes.
  • Enhance CI/CD workflows, observability, and monitoring to improve system reliability.
  • Collaborate with developers and platform engineers to implement best practices for system reliability.
  • Provide technical leadership in reliability strategies to drive business outcomes.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.
  • Strong coding experience in Go, Python, Java, Rust, or similar programming languages.
  • Experience with Kubernetes in production environments and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Crossplane.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as ArgoCD, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry.
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership skills to drive team success.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience promoting SRE best practices and contributing to open-source projects.
  • Deep understanding of microservices architecture and proficiency in scripting languages like Go, Python, or Bash.
  • Proficiency in cloud native technologies and contributions to Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) projects.
