Procurement Specialist Job Description

This position involves providing strategic sourcing value within a Procurement Center of Excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Execute the sourcing process, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of results.
  • Support clients in governance requirements, including third-party risk management, anti-money laundering screening, and financial viability assessments.
  • Foster continuous improvement of procurement processes, identifying opportunities for optimization.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of relevant sourcing/procurement experience.
  • Proven expertise in leading sourcing initiatives, developing strategies, and managing contracts.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders, including legal counsel and governance teams.
  • Familiarity with vendor contract language, SAP Ariba Contracts, and Sourcing Modules.
  • Understanding of general procurement challenges and solutions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent client relationship management skills.
  • Financial analysis skills, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Confidence in ability to lead negotiations to successful conclusions.
  • Proven ability to work with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
