Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Development: Collaborate with government/public companies to develop strategies promoting investment and production growth in the mining sector.
  2. Technical Expertise: Provide expert advice on mining areas, including exploration, geology, mine development, extraction, and refining.
  3. Research and Analysis: Conduct research on regional mining industry trends, opportunities, and challenges, generating insights and actionable output.
  4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Promote sustainable mining practices, building strong relationships with mining companies, investors, and local communities.
  5. Performance Metrics: Establish metrics to track progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  6. Thought Leadership and Business Development: Contribute to methodologies, tools, and intellectual property related to mining sector trends and innovations.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mining fields or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in mining industry, 8 years in research/consulting field.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of mining areas, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Teamwork and Project Management: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
