Key Role: Business Development Manager

We are seeking an exceptional professional to drive our business growth initiatives by identifying and converting high potential prospects into valuable clients.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A strong background in Business Development, with experience in gathering intelligence, preparing pitches, and converting prospects into clients.
  • The ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, including law firms, accountancy firms, and financial sponsors, to develop a pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to manage a disciplined and efficient prospect-to-conversion process, ensuring optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Relevant educational qualifications, such as a postgraduate degree or diploma, preferably in MBA.
  • Knowledge of the wealth management industry and ecosystem players is highly desirable.

This is a pivotal role that requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Executing market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities, trends, and customer needs, and developing strategies for business growth.
  • Identifying leads through various channels, including networking, referrals, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Managing existing client relationships to understand their needs and identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling banking products and services.
  • Developing and executing strategies to acquire new business and expand the customer base, including proposal preparation, presentations, and contract negotiations.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients.
  • Forecasting sales targets and tracking progress against goals, providing regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and sales performance.
