Job Title: Director of Strategic Growth

Role Overview

Our organization is seeking a visionary and experienced professional to lead its Resource Centre for Women and Girls as the Director of Strategic Growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful leadership and management of the Centre and allied programs, aligning with the Board of Trustees' strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Act as a spokesperson, conduct official correspondence, and represent the organization to enhance its community profile.
  • Operational Management: Oversee efficient daily operations, draft and review policies, and inform the Board of internal and external issues affecting the organization.
  • Program Oversight: Plan, implement, and evaluate the Resource Centre's programs and services, ensuring they align with the organization's mission and maintain high quality.
  • Human Resources: Determine staffing needs, consultants, implement HR policies, foster a positive and safe work environment, recruit, mentor, and train team members, and manage performance.
  • Financial Management: Collaborate on budget preparation, secure funding, administer funds, ensure compliance with legislation, and potentially commission research on girls' issues.
  • Community Relations Advocacy: Communicate with stakeholders, build collaborative relationships, and advocate for the organization's goals within the community.
